Full Stack IoT - From Device to Analytics
Abstract
IoT is used in everyday life already (even if you are not actively aware!) and this will only become more pervasive in the future. Industry 4.0 is just starting with making machines IoT enabled too. The visions presented by the various industries are promising and hyped to the max, but how do we implement this? What is involved in making a device a good IoT device? We will in this presentation examine the IoT landscape from initial requirements analysis, implementation on small devices, to networks and big data. For each level of the IoT stack we will highlight some potential alternatives, pitfalls, and ideas.
